David L. Devaney’s poems and biographical material were distributed across earlier sites and archives, making the work harder to explore and preserve in one place.
Simply moving old pages would not create a usable long-term literary archive, and continuing to publish needed a real administrative workflow.
The archive needs to honor the poetry first: legibility, chronological and thematic discovery, preservation and a publishing path that does not overwrite its history.
Recovered PoetAZ and PoetNOLA material, search, categories, year and collection views, books, an About section, and a Netlify-admin publishing design backed by Functions and Blobs.
Historical material was unified with a structure designed for ongoing new poems, rather than frozen as an abandoned legacy website.
This project demonstrates archival recovery, content design and back-end publishing as a distinct kind of workflow engineering.
